The investigation by the Mossos d'Esquadra began after the neighbor filed a formal complaint against the elected official. The reported incident allegedly took place on the landing of the residential building where both individuals live.

The complaint states that the neighbor, who lives on the first floor, was on the landing when she was allegedly struck suddenly by the councilor.
