Sant Andreu is on the verge of a historic achievement, depending on themselves to be crowned champions of Segunda Federación and secure direct promotion to Primera RFEF, a feat not accomplished in sixteen years.

The team led by Natxo González needs a victory, their tenth consecutive, to mathematically secure promotion. Alternatively, an identical result to that of Atlètic Balears would also suffice, as they maintain a nine-point lead with four matchdays remaining in the competition.
The decisive match will take place this Sunday at 6 PM, when Sant Andreu will visit Valencia Mestalla. This encounter will be crucial for lifting the league title of Group 3 of Segunda Federación.
The last time Sant Andreu won a league title in this category was in the 2009/10 season, also under the direction of Natxo González, when they were crowned champions of the former Segunda División B. However, that title did not lead to promotion, unlike the current Segunda RFEF format, which grants direct promotion to the champions of each group.
This opportunity represents a significant milestone for the club, which could repeat the celebration of a promotion, as happened on June 5, 2023, when they moved up to Segunda Federación after defeating Salamanca in the play-off.
