Entrepreneurs Verónica and Gustavo, owners of the restaurant group, have announced the definitive closure of their El Cau del Vermut location situated in Plaça Verge de Montserrat in L'Hospitalet next Sunday, December 21.

The closure, announced via social media, exclusively affects the establishment in the Centre neighborhood of L'Hospitalet. The group, managed by local entrepreneurs Verónica and Gustavo, will continue to operate their other businesses normally, planning new projects in the near future.

"Friends of El Cau, today we want to communicate that, next Sunday, December 21, we will definitively close our Centre location. For various reasons, we say goodbye to the Centre, but Cau de Santa Eulalia and Radikal Burger will remain open in the city. We also keep La Bodegueta de Cal Pep open in Sants."

The locations remaining open are Cau de Santa Eulàlia, where the adventure began in 2019 and which has received recognition from the prestigious Guía Repsol, Radikal Burger on Bruc street, and La Bodegueta de Cal Pep, located in the Sants neighborhood of Barcelona.
The acquisition of La Bodegueta de Cal Pep took place in 2023 to prevent the disappearance of this historic and emblematic cellar in Sants. Verónica and Gustavo carried out a careful renovation to preserve the essence and long trajectory of the venue, restoring it to its original appearance.
