The manager of Sistach Security, Joan Sistach Soler, explained at the Impuls IA Berguedà conference how artificial intelligence enables early risk detection and improved security response.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming all sectors, including security, thanks to a data analysis capacity that was previously unthinkable. This technology allows for identifying patterns and behaviors to anticipate risk situations, facilitating the early detection of potential scenarios before major incidents occur.

"Artificial intelligence is completely changing the way we understand security."

When prevention is not enough, AI improves the response, being able to automatically notify a control center or even activate a drone to visually verify the situation in less than a minute. Sistach Security has ongoing projects that include improving internal human resources procedures, demand prediction, and the application of AI in security from a drone with a dock, which was demonstrated at the conference on February 5th at the Curriu de Cal Rosal space.
According to Sistach, the main obstacle for incorporating AI into SMEs in Berguedà is distrust regarding who information is shared with, due to fear of losing intellectual property. However, he warned that the pace of evolution is so rapid that failure to adopt it could leave companies obsolete in a few years. The ACEB (Associació Comarcal d’Empresaris del Berguedà) plays a key role as a platform for dissemination and support to keep the business community informed.
