The Bagà City Council has completed the installation of 60 new light points to illuminate a one-kilometer stretch between Vila Park and Cal Caseta path this February.

This project addresses a long-standing request from local residents to fix one of the town's darkest areas. The chosen system uses one-meter-high bollard lights, which provide high efficiency on the pavement while preventing light pollution in the night sky.

"Our priority is for anyone to be able to walk through Bagà with peace of mind at any time, eliminating dark spots and making the town friendlier and safer."

Lluís Casas · Mayor of Bagà
The total investment reached 64,000 euros, funded by the Barcelona Provincial Council. This financial support ensured the safety improvements were made without a direct cost to Bagà's municipal budget.
