The Berga Town Council and the Berguedà Development Agency are organizing a new fair on March 11 and 12 at the Sala Casino to boost local employment and education.

The event expands the UP Berguedà festival. On March 11, the focus will be on education, with 17 booths from institutions like the University of Vic and UPC presenting vocational and higher education options to local students.
On March 12, the fair will transition to the labor market. Organized with the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, the GiraFeina+45 initiative will bring together 17 local companies offering 100 jobs in sectors such as industry, trade, and healthcare.

"The goal is to connect local talent with the business fabric of the territory and retain it."

Mercè Sallés · President of the Chamber of Commerce in Berguedà
