Footballer Marc Grifell, from Berga, has confirmed his return to the Kings League after officially signing with the team PIO this February.

The Berguedà region maintains its presence in Gerard Piqué's league with Marc Grifell joining the squad led by Mexican streamer Samy Rivers. The deal was finalized in the final moments of the transfer window, ahead of the season start on March 1st.
Grifell is a known face in the competition, having won the Kings League title in 2024 as part of Jijantes. After a previous short stint with PIO, he returns to the team looking for a new trophy.
The player currently balances his professional career between the Kings League and Gimnàstic de Manresa in the Catalan First Division, where he recently scored in a 4-1 victory against UD Parc.
