The Berguedà Regional Association of Employers (ACEB) has successfully mobilized €526,342.62 in grants during 2025, enabling the employment of 37 individuals who were previously unemployed in the region.

These grants are part of Active Employment Policies, combining public and private subsidies. A total of 30 local businesses have benefited from these programs, which have facilitated stable employment contracts ranging from 9 to 18 months.
The ACEB has provided comprehensive services to both businesses and residents, managing the grants through its job board and professional guidance team. The technical staff has engaged in labor intermediation and closely monitored each hiring to ensure a good match between company needs and employee profiles.
The hires cover a diverse range of professional profiles and key sectors for the region, including commerce, construction, agriculture, industry, hospitality, services, transport, and tourism. Both assistants and qualified technicians have been incorporated to strengthen small and medium-sized enterprises in Berguedà.
Through this initiative, the ACEB solidifies its role as a vital agent for the economic revitalization of Berguedà, acting as an effective bridge between businesses seeking talent and individuals looking for employment opportunities.
