The alert was received at 7:54 AM. The deployed units confirmed that the building, consisting of a ground floor and two upper levels, was empty at the time of the incident, so no personal injuries were reported.
During the operation, firefighters used a hook ladder to remove elements at risk of falling. Simultaneously, the municipal architect was requested through the Local Police to assess the state of the structure and adjacent buildings.
Technical services from the Berga City Council have ruled out damage to neighboring properties. Meanwhile, the municipal brigade carried out cleanup tasks on the public road to ensure pedestrian safety.
The affected property is privately owned. According to municipal sources, the local administration will require the owner to carry out the necessary repairs or, otherwise, the building will be declared a ruin, with the owner bearing the cost of the actions.
