The emergency situation due to intense rain in Cabrils has ended after registering 231.7 liters per square meter, one of the highest figures in Catalonia, causing significant material damage.

From yesterday afternoon until this morning, Cabrils has accumulated 231.7 liters of water per square meter, a figure placing it among the highest recorded in Catalonia. Despite the magnitude of the rainfall, no personal injuries have been reported, although the large volume of water has caused numerous material damages, directly or indirectly.
Among the most notable incidents, two walls have collapsed. One was located between private properties in the Sant Sebastià area, while the other, situated in La Galbanya, fell onto the public road, causing the closure of Carrer Mare de Déu del Pilar. The beginning of Carrer Oliveres, in La Llobera, also remains blocked due to accumulated earth, forcing the ADF to remove a sunken vehicle. Additionally, Carrer Era Vella, in Montcabrer, is momentarily inaccessible due to a pine tree falling onto the electrical network. Tree falls and landslips have also been reported in other parts of the municipality.
The electricity supply was also affected over the weekend, with a total of 4 different breakdowns in the municipality impacting over a thousand people.
The Municipal Brigade has worked intensively since early morning to secure and clear the town's main access routes of rocks, stones, and wood, as well as cleaning the drains in the main streets to prevent future flooding. The efforts of the volunteer staff from the ADF have also been crucial, assisting in the removal of pine trees obstructing public roads and in draining the stagnant water in Horts de la Santa Creu.
