The Local Police, the ADF (Forest Fire Prevention Association), the Municipal Brigade, and the technical teams of the City Council have worked intensively to address the impacts caused by the storm. The Local Police and the Municipal Brigade will continue their work throughout the afternoon.
Underground passages have been affected by flooding, although most have now been reopened. Residents in the La Musclera area must use the access from Sant Vicenç due to the condition of the Riera de Caldes.
Several homes near the Municipal Market, Pompeu Fabra, and Canalies have experienced power outages due to cable incidents, with the one on Pompeu Fabra already repaired. Additionally, a tree fell in the courtyard of Maragall school, necessitating the use of alternative entrances. A tree branch also affected a vehicle in Vilaplana.
A crack has appeared in a wall separating the parking lot of the Estela Maris residential area from the new apartments on Jaume Balmes, and a partial landslide occurred on a rockery wall of a property in the Portinyol urbanization. There was also partial flooding in the parking lot of the affordable rental HPO apartments in El Bareu, and raised manhole covers have been detected in various locations.
The City Council has expressed gratitude for the work of all security forces and municipal workers, as well as citizens who have collaborated to restore normalcy after the torrential rain episode.
