The decision to suspend the race, which was to take place in the center of Gironella, was made on Saturday, March 28th, in the evening, after Protecció Civil activated the alert for adverse weather conditions. The organization prioritized the safety of participants and volunteers.

The fifth edition of La Milla del Berguedà, celebrating its fifth anniversary, will maintain the same format and 1.6-kilometer route. The main objective of the event is to raise funds for the social projects promoted by Fundació La Llar.
The organization expects to exceed five hundred participants, a figure that has been reached in all previous editions since the race's inception.
