The Berga City Council is launching a new storage service for the upcoming La Patum celebration, aiming to allow attendees to enjoy the festival with fewer concerns.

After years of recommending attendees minimize objects that could hinder the traditional jumps and movement within the square, the organizers of La Patum have decided to take a further step. For the first time, a dedicated space will be available for storing backpacks, strollers, and other belongings, located on the main street, just a short distance from Plaça de Sant Pere.
This new service will be housed in the Cal Moré premises, situated at placeta Ciutat, number 10. The facility will open its doors starting from the main Patum events on Thursday night and will operate similarly to a conventional nightclub cloakroom. The fee for storing strollers and backpacks will be 5 euros, while jackets or handbags will cost 3 euros.
The operating hours for the Cal Moré facility will be tailored to the festival's schedule. On Thursday of Corpus Christi, June 4th, it will be open from 8:30 PM to 3:00 AM. On Friday the 5th, during the Children's Patum, there will be two shifts: from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with special consideration for families with babies. On Saturday the 6th, for the evening procession, the hours will be from 6:30 PM to 3:00 AM. Finally, on Sunday, the last day of the festival, the storage service will be available from 9:30 PM to 3:00 AM during the final full Patum.
