The PSC municipal group at Berga City Council will present a motion this Thursday during the March plenary session to demand a sidewalk maintenance plan with a clear schedule.

The socialist proposal aims to create an updated diagnosis of the state of public roads. The PSC suggests using data from the municipal incident app alongside mobility criteria and proximity to schools to determine which areas need urgent intervention.

"Public space is a priority. We propose to take a step further by scheduling and planning better and giving continuity to this commitment."

Marc Ortega · PSC Councilor
The local government has welcomed the proposal. Urban Planning Councilor Aleix Serra confirmed that the executive agrees with the PSC's position, admitting that sidewalk improvements have lagged behind road paving in recent years.
