The Berga City Council has officially postponed the Carnival parade scheduled for this Saturday, February 14th, following a red alert for high winds issued by the Generalitat.

The parade will now take place on Sunday afternoon from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Local authorities explained that the weather conditions would void insurance coverage in the event of an accident. Meanwhile, the traditional ball dels cornuts will proceed at midnight once the weather warning is expected to be lifted.
Other towns in the Berguedà region have also been affected. Puig-reig and Bagà adjusted their schedules to finish earlier, while la Pobla de Lillet decided to cancel its parade entirely to ensure public safety.
