Architect Galdric Santana presented a study this Wednesday in la Pobla de Lillet confirming that the Catllaràs Chalet is an authentic work by Antoni Gaudí.

The research, conducted by the Gaudi Chair at UPC, identifies four technical elements that prove Gaudí's involvement, including the specific geometry of the interior arches. The building was designed between 1901 and 1908 but was never officially signed by the architect.

"It was necessary to clarify the attribution to Gaudi, which was long suspected but never scientifically proven."

Experts believe that while Gaudí created the design, the construction was likely managed by his collaborator Juli Batllevell. This discovery is part of the official Gaudi Year 2026 program, marking the centenary of the architect's death.
