The 46th edition of the International Coral Singing Festival Catalunya Centre in Puig-reig concluded on Sunday with a successful turnout, particularly boosted by the concert of the Filipino group USTSAI, which filled the municipal pavilion.

The concert by the University of Santo Tomas Singers Alumni International (USTSAI), directed by Fidel Gener Calalang, Jr., drew 200 people to the municipal pavilion in Puig-reig, marking the highest attendance of this year's event. This performance served as the finale for the festival's three-day program, held from October 10th to 12th.
The strong attendance at the UST Singers' concert significantly contributed to the festival's overall success. This year's event was rescheduled to the autumn to accommodate the international choirs' schedules. The festival commenced on Saturday, October 10th, with performances by the Polifònica de Puig-reig and the Georgian group Vocal Vircan. On Sunday, October 11th, local and female talent took center stage with performances from the choirs of the Municipal Music School of Puig-reig and the vocal ensemble Sound Six.
The Polifònica de Puig-reig and the Consell Comarcal de Puig-reig have positively assessed the public's response to the date change and the significance of hosting an internationally recognized ensemble. They highlighted the challenges involved in sustaining a festival of this caliber with high-quality international choirs.
