The Bellver de Cerdanya City Council has announced that this Thursday, October 29th, works will begin to renovate the water supply pipe in Riu de Santa Maria, along the Camí de Talló. The project, with a budget of 126,733.37 euros plus VAT, aims to improve the network and ensure service continuity.

The works, part of the municipality's Water Supply Master Plan, aim to improve the network's condition, increase capacity, enhance service quality and year-round continuity, and eliminate leaks. They include replacing the existing asbestos-cement pipe with a new 150mm ductile iron pipe and installing three new valves.
The works will be carried out in two phases to minimize traffic disruptions on Camí de Talló. Phase 1, from Camí de Talló to Carrer Pla de Talló, is estimated to last between one and two weeks. Phase 2, from Carrer Pla de Talló to the entrance of Riu de Santa Maria on Carrer de Talló, will take between two and three weeks. Occasional water supply interruptions may occur, and the City Council will provide advance notice to affected residents.
These works, budgeted at 126,733.37 euros plus VAT, are funded by the City Council and will improve municipal infrastructure, ensuring a more efficient and reliable water supply service.
