Two cars collided early this Friday morning on the N-260R road, within the municipality of Bellver de Cerdanya. The incident occurred near the village of Baltarga.
Each of the involved vehicles carried a single occupant. One of the drivers was transported to Cerdanya Hospital with a less serious injury prognosis, according to the Generalitat Firefighters.
The other driver sustained minor injuries and received attention at the scene from the Emergency Medical System personnel, without requiring evacuation to a medical center.
Firefighters received the alert at 8:27 AM and deployed four units. They worked for an hour and a half to remove the damaged vehicles and clean the road, restoring normal traffic flow.
