The contest features seven different categories, ranging from Primary School students to adults over 18. Participants can submit works in both prose and poetry. Prizes are tailored to each age group, with the top category offering a 500 euro cash prize and a book for the winners.
Eligibility is extended to those with links to Cerdanya or residents of neighboring counties such as Aran, Berguedà, and Solsonès. Special mentions will also be awarded to writers from Northern Catalonia (France) and students in special education to encourage diverse participation.
The deadline for submitting literary works is Wednesday, March 18, 2026. Winners will be announced during the traditional Sant Jordi festival on April 23. Full guidelines are available on the official social media channels of the Alp municipality.
