A traffic accident involving two vehicles occurred this Sunday morning at kilometer marker 9.7 of the N-162 road, within the municipality of Fontanals de Cerdanya. The severity of the impact caused one of the involved cars to catch fire completely.

Several units of the Bombers de la Generalitat rapidly deployed to the area to suppress the flames and prevent the fire from spreading. Simultaneously, the emergency services of the SEM (Medical Emergency Service) attended to one individual.

The victim, who sustained minor injuries, was subsequently transferred to the Hospital de Cerdanya for medical attention. After the fire was extinguished, the Bombers proceeded to remove the wrecked vehicles from the road, allowing traffic flow to be restored on the N-162.
