Cerdanya and Alt Urgell Lead Government Investment in the Pyrenees for 2026

The Catalan Government has planned an investment of 16.8 million euros for both Cerdanya and Alt Urgell in 2026, marking them as the highest-funded regions in the Pyrenees.

The PSC administration's budget proposal includes a 49% increase for the Alt Pirineu i Aran area, totaling 63.1 million euros. The plan focuses on environmental management and road improvements.
In Cerdanya, the most significant allocation is 7.2 million euros for the Waste Treatment Center, alongside investments in La Molina ski resort and the Regional Archive in Puigcerdà.
For Alt Urgell, 5.6 million euros will be dedicated to road maintenance and 1.5 million to expanding the local waste deposit, ensuring essential infrastructure development.
