The incident occurred at 12:45 PM during a routine speed check at kilometer 181. The driver was traveling at more than twice the legal limit of 80 km/h established for that section of the road.

Officers detained the individual on charges of crimes against road safety. The arrest was necessary to ensure his court appearance, as the driver does not hold a permanent residence in Spain.

The suspect was brought before the duty judge in Puigcerdà this Monday to face legal proceedings regarding the violation in the Cerdanya region.
