The program began with an educational day aimed at students from the Institut Escola Bellver de Cerdanya. The students explored the ecosystems of the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park, where they learned about local biodiversity and the impacts of climate change on high mountain environments.
The public program included unique experiences such as the night excursion to Malniu Lake, which allowed attendees to enjoy astronomical observation. The following day, the proposal continued with a route through Tossal d'Isòvol, combining hiking with the tasting of local gastronomic products.
The Cerdà Museum in Puigcerdà hosted a round table on the future of hiking. During the session, various experts analyzed the role of trails as heritage, the health benefits, and the challenges of coexistence among mountain users.
This initiative is part of the Pyrenees Hiking Festivals, coordinated by IDAPA. The organization has made a very positive assessment of the event, highlighting the importance of promoting a tourism model that respects and values the cultural and natural wealth of the territory.
