The political groups Junts per Puigcerdà and Futur per Puigcerdà signed an agreement this Friday at the Hotel Park to run together in the 2027 municipal elections.

The ceremony was attended by Jordi Turull, Secretary General of Junts per Catalunya, and Francesc Armengol, president of Futur per Puigcerdà. This new alliance seeks to overcome past divisions after a motion of censure in 2025 removed them from power in favor of ERC.
The previous partnership dissolved due to internal conflicts and the dismissal of key councilors. By joining forces now, both parties intend to present a unified front to the voters of Puigcerdà and the Cerdanya region in the next local polls.
