The agreement, provisionally named Junts pel Futur, was signed by Jordi Turull, general secretary of Junts per Catalunya, and Francesc Armengol, president of Futur per Puigcerdà. The alliance aims to end political instability in the town.
“"It is the first stone to join forces. We are capable of providing responsibility, values, and the essence of the territory."
Although the agreement was celebrated, it has caused some internal friction among members. Isidre Chia, head of municipal policy for Junts, stated that the focus remains on working for the Cerdanya region despite these internal disagreements.
