The seven cross-country ski resorts under the Tot Nòrdic brand, mainly located in Cerdanya and the Alt Pirineu, have achieved the best snow conditions in recent years thanks to the heavy snowfall this past weekend.

The significant snowfall over the weekend, which left up to 51 centimeters of new snow at the Malniu refuge, has reinforced the excellent snow base available at the resorts. For example, the Lles de Cerdanya resort now boasts depths between 80 and 110 centimeters, with all 28 kilometers of its circuits fully operational.

"Having snow in abundance is always very good news, not only for the resorts themselves but also for all the respective municipalities or valleys they are part of, because this guarantees economic activity."

Ramon Sellés · Director of Lles de Cerdanya Resort
The situation is equally favorable at the other cross-country facilities. Neighboring Aransa and Tuixent-la Vansa both have 30 kilometers of open circuits, while Guils-Fontanera reaches 33 kilometers. Further south, Sant Joan de l'Erm has 20 kilometers groomed, and in Pallars Sobirà, Tavascan has all 15 kilometers open. All resorts also have open areas for snowshoeing and all regular tourist services.

"The state of the snow is spectacular. It had been at least seven years since I found such good snow at this time of year. It was worth the wait because we don't remember such good conditions and fantastic weather in years."

Mònica Ferrés and Josep Grau · Cross-Country Ski Enthusiasts
This euphoria extends to the Alpine ski resorts, which are also enjoying the best conditions in recent years. The Alp 2500 domain (formed by Masella and La Molina) is operating at almost 100%, with 143 kilometers open and a maximum depth of 140 centimeters. Other complexes like Boí Taüll (150 cm) and Vallter (145 cm) also show exceptional accumulations. However, resorts have issued a call for caution for those wishing to venture outside controlled areas for ski touring or snowshoeing.
