Nine people were affected in a traffic accident that occurred this Saturday at 2:07 PM on the D-68 road, in the municipality of Llívia.

The incident, a rear-end collision involving four cars, took place on the stretch connecting Llívia and Puigcerdà, near the French border. None of the individuals involved were trapped in the vehicles.
One of the drivers had to be assisted with a spinal board due to dizziness and inability to exit the vehicle on her own. The final toll includes one person with a possible broken leg, three with minor injuries, and five unharmed.
In one of the involved cars, a Toyota, the driver sustained minor injuries, while his two passengers were unharmed. In a Volkswagen Tiguan, the driver suffered a possible leg fracture and was extracted through the trunk. In a Renault Trafic, one occupant was slightly injured and another unharmed. Finally, in the fourth vehicle, two people were uninjured and a third sustained minor injuries.
Three of the affected individuals were transported to the Hospital de Puigcerdà: one of the slightly injured, accompanied by family, and two others from one of the other vehicles.
Two units from the Bombers de la Generalitat (Generalitat Firefighters) responded to the scene, primarily responsible for cleaning the road, along with personnel from the Sistema d’Emergències Mèdiques (SEM) (Emergency Medical System). Once traffic flow was restored, the units returned to their stations.
