The Roser Cultural Week in Puigcerdà marks its 30th edition with an offering of over fifteen cultural activities taking place until July 12th.

The celebration includes a diverse program featuring musical theater, dance, poetry, book presentations, and children's shows, designed to attract a wide audience. The culture councilor of the Puigcerdà City Council, Núria Muñoz, highlighted the aim to provide offerings for all ages and tastes.
Among the notable events are the concert-show celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Associació Cerdanya Musical, a collective street reading, and the 'Dones amb cor' concert by the Capella Santa Maria. This year, as a new addition, the screening of the film Mar i Cel at the Museu Cerdà is included.
The city council has emphasized its commitment to fostering the participation of local entities and companies from the region. The Cultural Week was established 30 years ago to fill the early days of July with activities, coinciding with the relocation of Puigcerdà's main festival to the third week of the month.
Mary Carmen Ramón, cultural technician for Puigcerdà, recalled that this marks 30 uninterrupted years of cultural celebration, initiated by a former councilor to maintain a tradition. Currently, there is one event daily, and often two, with most activities being free of charge.
The Multicultural Festival in plaça del Call and the 28th Catalan Poetry Gathering at the Museu Cerdà will conclude the 30th edition of the Cultural Week.
