The Ramon Llull Summer University Puigcerdà has opened the registration period for its 28th edition, which will take place from July 13th to 17th. This year's program includes seventeen training activities, divided into seven courses on various topics such as the music of Wagner, contemporary history, creative writing, or artificial intelligence. Additionally, four smaller workshops and four professional conferences are offered.
From AUCER, the organizing association, they emphasize the commitment to continue providing quality education in the Cerdanya region for a diverse audience, describing the program as "rigorous and fun".
“
"Our objective as an association and as a university is always the same: to bring quality education to Cerdanya for everyone, making it affordable. This is reflected in the prices, the type of training, the week's schedule… we want people to have a good time, to enjoy themselves, and for Puigcerdà to breathe this atmosphere during the week."
“
"We have worked to offer a varied program with current themes, catering to diverse tastes, while always maintaining the AUCER seal we like to highlight each year: bringing quality faculty and teaching expertise."
The workshops cover topics such as herbal remedies, ceramics, Gaudí and oenology, or skin care. The professional conferences include the XXIV Summer Conference of the Medical Profession, the XII Rural Development Conference, the VII Summer Conference of the Pharmaceutical Profession, and the ‘Digital Entertainment 2026’ summit. A guided tour of Puigcerdà's past and a lecture on life maturity have also been scheduled.
In addition to academic courses and conferences, the university week will feature activities open to everyone, such as the Night of the Stars and the Night of the Arts. The initiative is supported by entities including the Fundació Hospital de Puigcerdà, the Departament d’Agricultura, Ramaderia i Pesca, Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat, and Empresariat Cerdanya.
“
"It is a compendium and a balance between society, institutions, and the public-private sector. We can no longer say that the university is a seed, which it was; now it is fully consolidated."
Registrations are now open on the website [www.aucer.org](https://www.aucer.org/), where all detailed information can be found. In previous editions, the university has attracted around 400 participants and over 2,000 attendees to its open activities. The courses will be held at the INS Pere Borrell, with the inauguration and closing ceremony at the Museu Cerdà.
