The Cerdanya Comarcal Archive in Puigcerdà kicks off the 11th edition of the Explica'm una història series this Friday, February 20th, focusing on regional history and research.

Organized by the Cerdanya County Council and the Cerdanya Research Group, this initiative has been a public success since 2015. The 2026 program includes four main lectures by prominent historians and two book presentations regarding the local past.
Key topics include the Puigcerdà Francoist concentration camp presented by Marc Pont and medieval geopolitics by Laura de Castellet. A new addition this year is a guided tour of the Sant Domènec church led by historian Gerard Cunill on February 28th.
Events take place at the Sebastià Bosom hall at 7:00 PM. For those unable to attend, the Cerdanya Comarcal Archive will upload video recordings of all sessions to their YouTube channel for public viewing.
