The Catalan Fire Department extinguished a fire in an apartment building on Catalunya Avenue in Puigcerdà this February 12th, resulting in three minor injuries.

Emergency services received the alert at 07:14 AM. Preliminary reports suggest the fire was triggered by a gas cylinder inside one of the units in the four-story building.
Five fire crews, Mossos d'Esquadra police, and SEM medical teams responded to the scene. One resident was instructed to shelter in place, while all other neighbors were evacuated from the premises.
Three individuals were transported to the Cerdanya Hospital in less serious condition to be treated for injuries sustained during the incident.
