The Public Prosecutor is seeking three years in prison for three company directors from Terrassa accused of asset stripping to avoid paying for construction works in Das in 2008.

The events date back to 2008, when the defendants commissioned the construction of several properties in the town of Das. Despite the completion of the works, invoices totaling 86,986.17 euros remained unpaid.
Prosecutors allege that the managers liquidated investment funds worth over 126,000 euros just as payments became due. Furthermore, they took out a 175,000 euro mortgage on the Cerdanya properties but failed to pay the construction company.
The victimized company was only able to seize 85.89 euros in 2010, less than 0.1% of the total debt. The trial is scheduled for next Tuesday at the Barcelona Court.
