Colmado de Llívia has been distinguished with the Innovation Award during the second edition of the Catalonia Capipota Contest, held this Saturday in Igualada as part of the Vadefoodies festival.

The competition, organized by the Vadefoodies Gastronomic and Cultural Association with the support of the Igualada City Council and the Gremi de Menuders de Catalunya, aims to highlight the cuisine of offal and traditional fork breakfasts.
In this edition, a total of 18 establishments from across Catalonia presented their recipes to a specialized jury. In addition to the innovation award, the contest also recognized the best traditional recipe, establishing itself as a benchmark event for restaurants that include this dish on their menu.
The gastronomic day featured an extensive program including jazz concerts, book presentations, and live cooking demonstrations. Furthermore, restaurants in the Anoia region offered special interior cuisine menus throughout the weekend.
