This competition, officially presented on April 9 in the same town, will mark a before and after for ice hockey in Cerdanya. The 15 scheduled matches, featuring teams such as Spain, the Netherlands, Latvia, Great Britain, Kazakhstan, and South Korea, will be completely free for the public.

The press conference for the presentation was attended by several personalities, including the mayor of Puigcerdà, Joan Manel Serra; the Sports Councilor, Mercè Carbó; the president of the RFEDH, Frank González; the Secretary General for Sport, Abel García; the coach of the Spanish national team, Juan Bravo; and players Elena Álvarez (captain) and Paula Giménez, the latter also from Club Gel Puigcerdà.
