The incident occurred at kilometer marker 31.3 of the C-14 road, close to Vilaverd. As reported by the Servei Català de Trànsit, the accident alert was received at 3:02 PM.
One of the vehicle's occupants was trapped inside and required assistance from the Generalitat Firefighters, who responded to the scene with three units to free them. The other three occupants were able to exit the car on their own.
Emergency medical services (SEM) attended to the four injured individuals, all with minor injuries. The accident caused traffic jams of one kilometer on this road.
Due to cleanup and accident response efforts, an alternating traffic system was implemented on the C-14 while emergency teams worked in the area.
