Young people participating in a work camp to restore the area around the mills route in Santa Coloma de Queralt.

The Santa Coloma de Queralt City Council, with the support of the Oficina Jove de la Conca and the organization Quàlia, has launched a work camp for young people aged 12 to 17 with the aim of restoring the weir and aqueduct of the mills route.

This initiative, aimed at young people from the first year of ESO onwards, will take place in two phases during the month of July. The first will be from July 13 to 17, and the second, from July 20 to 24. Activities will be held in the morning, from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM, combining technical restoration tasks with cultural and leisure proposals.
The program includes the creation of a podcast dedicated to the memory of the area's mills, the realization of a collaborative mural with the participation of Àlex Trull, and various nature activities organized by the entity La Sínia. Additionally, participants will enjoy cultural outings to Montblanc and an adventure circuit.
Registrations for this work camp are now open. For more detailed information about the program and participation requirements, the print edition of the publication La Nova Conca, available this coming Friday, can be consulted.
