The combination of continuity in existing initiatives and the implementation of new programs has allowed Conca de Barberà's social services to strengthen their commitment to the community. This strategy has been crucial for improving prevention and support for families in need.
Socio-educational services, provided outside school hours, have maintained stable participation in Montblanc and have seen significant growth in l'Espluga de Francolí and Santa Coloma de Queralt. The presence of reference educators has been fundamental in establishing strong bonds with young people and consolidating work groups. Concurrently, the Socio-educational Intervention Service (SIS) has worked with 21 families, offering parental support and improving family coexistence.
Among the notable new developments in 2025, a specific program for children aged 0 to 3 years has been launched, which has already begun interventions with three families and is expected to be consolidated in the coming years. Furthermore, support for at-risk adolescents has been expanded, and assistance for women experiencing gender-based violence has been maintained, with a gender reference figure coordinating all involved services.
These actions reaffirm Conca de Barberà's commitment to accessible, quality, and continuous social services, aiming to build a more cohesive and protected community where children and families can develop with security and confidence.
