Train circulation on Rodalies lines R13 and R14 has been interrupted between Montblanc and Vilaverd stations due to a copper theft that caused a vegetation fire.

The incident, which occurred in an area near the tracks, has been quickly extinguished. As a consequence of this act of vandalism, railway services between the two localities in Conca de Barberà are affected.
Technicians from Adif and the operating company are working intensively to inspect the catenary and restore service as quickly as possible. In the meantime, an alternative road service has been set up, with intermediate stops, to connect the affected stations.
The situation has led Protecció Civil to activate the Ferrocat plan in pre-alert. The lines affected by this incident cover the route between Lleida and La Plana-Picamoixons.
