The Els Montblanquets group has won the first prize for best float at the Montblanc Carnival this Sunday, marking the end of the festivities in the Plaça Major.

The celebration concluded with the traditional 'Burial of the Carnival King', featuring the Dimonis de Montblanc. The ceremony included a satirical reading of the King's will, which focused on local political issues before the symbolic farewell to the festivities.
In the float category, Els Montblanquets were awarded 1,200 euros for their creative work. Studio 54 took the top spot in the parade groups category, while the Gegants de la Font Vella won the youth group competition.
