The 9.3% increase in calls was accompanied by an even more significant rise in registered incidents, which reached 4,825 operations, marking a 14.3% increase in the Conca de Barberà region during 2025.
Health emergencies and traffic accidents have been the main drivers of this growth. Health incidents grew by more than 30%, rising from 1,330 calls in 2024 to 1,759 in 2025, while calls related to traffic exceeded 1,900.
This growing trend reflects more intense activity in the region, with a progressive change in the typology of emergency demands.
By municipality, Montblanc continues to lead the data with 2,600 calls, 16.3% more than in 2024. Santa Coloma de Queralt recorded one of the most relevant increases (21.2% in calls), although small towns like Vallfogona de Riucorb and Pontils experienced rises exceeding 40%.
It should be noted that while municipalities such as Vimbodí i Poblet and Vilaverd saw increases exceeding 35%, other small localities like Forès and Pira recorded a drop in emergency cases of up to 50%.
