The Conca de Barberà region woke up this Monday to heavy snowfall, which left significant accumulation and severely impacted traffic on several key regional roads.

Snowflakes began falling overnight, and by early morning the landscape was completely covered. In areas such as Vimbodí i Poblet, the snow depth had increased significantly, reaching four fingers (approximately 10 cm) by 10 AM.
The mobility situation is particularly delicate at higher altitudes. The C-14 road is currently closed to traffic between Solivella (in Conca de Barberà) and Ciutadilla (in Urgell) due to heavy snow accumulation.
Regarding the N-240, circulation remains open, but vehicles must exercise extreme caution, especially on the stretch running from L'Espluga de Francolí towards Lleida.
Snowplows are working intensely throughout the region to ensure mobility and clear the main roads, including access points to emblematic sites such as the Monestir de Santa Maria de Poblet, which has been blanketed in white.
