The Conca de Barberà region has launched a new mobile application to simplify citizens' access to selective waste collection and recycling center services, with information points in participating municipalities throughout July.

The Consell Comarcal de la Conca de Barberà (Comarcal Council of Conca de Barberà) has rolled out a new mobile application designed to simplify citizens' access to selective collection and recycling center services. This technological tool aims to provide a quick, convenient, and accessible way to manage waste.
The application is already operational in l’Espluga de Francolí, Santa Coloma de Queralt, Montblanc, and Sarral. Soon, the municipalities of Vimbodí i Poblet and Vilaverd will also receive information via email on how to download and use the new feature.
To promote the new APP and assist users with its installation, the Comarcal Council has organized a series of mobile information points. This week, technical teams will be present on July 2nd at the Plaça del Mercat in Sarral and on July 3rd at the Plaça Major in Montblanc. The following week, information points will be available in Vimbodí i Poblet on July 8th and 10th, and in Vilaverd on July 7th and 17th. The service hours will be from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, where specialized staff will answer questions and assist with the download.
The new application offers various key functionalities, including checking the selective collection calendar, accessing a virtual recycling center pass, requesting bulky waste collection services, reporting incidents, receiving service alerts and notifications, and tracking individual user participation records.
This initiative is part of a broader campaign to bring waste services closer to citizens, improve accessibility, and promote more efficient and sustainable management through new technologies across the entire region.
