Sunday's storm is causing intense rainfall and thunderstorms in various parts of Catalonia, with significant impact in the province of Tarragona.

The Meteorological Service of Catalonia (Meteocat) has issued a watch alert after registering accumulations exceeding 60 liters per square meter in three hours in Conca de Barberà. This unstable weather is primarily affecting inland areas, with potential for intense showers, thunderstorms, and occasional hail.
Montblanc has been one of the most affected locations by this meteorological event. The accumulation of water in various areas has prompted Civil Protection to recommend extreme caution during travel, especially in flood-prone zones. It is also advised to avoid approaching streams, torrents, and other areas susceptible to large water buildup.
