The festival La Nit 5.1 has kicked off its commemorative edition in Barberà de la Conca. The opening day featured a diverse program including children's music, singer-songwriter performances, folk, rock, punk, and humor, designed for audiences of all ages.
The family-friendly session opened the venue with a performance by Dàmaris Gelabert, accompanied by the band Grow Up Singing. Later, Marina Rossell returned to Barberà de la Conca over forty years after her last performance in the municipality, presenting a retrospective of her fifty-year career.
Humor also played a significant role with Òscar Andreu presenting “Crida als ocells de colors llampants”, hosted by Laura Grau. This performance was exclusive to the Tarragona region.
The musical lineup continued with El Diluvi, who brought their blend of folk and traditional music to Barberà de la Conca, followed by Minibús Intergalàctic with their rock and guitar-driven sound. The Tarragona-based band Crim closed the night with their Catalan punk-rock, presenting their latest album Futur medieval.
The day also saw the debut of the festival's two stages, the Cooperativa stage and the Plaça Viver stage, ensuring a smooth flow of performances. The offerings were complemented by wine selections from wineries in the DO Conca de Barberà and gastronomy from Portal 22.
