The town of Montblanc has kicked off its Medieval Week with a large influx of visitors, who are already enjoying the medieval market, traditional crafts exhibition, and the DO Conca de Barberà wine and cava market.

The streets and squares of Montblanc were transformed this Saturday with the opening of the most emblematic attractions of the Medieval Week. From early morning, thousands of people began to explore the town, immersed in an atmosphere that meticulously recreates the medieval era.
These spaces, spread across various points of the municipality, offer an experience that blends tradition, gastronomy, and craftsmanship. The crafts exhibition, one of the main draws, features live demonstrations allowing visitors to discover the techniques and tools used by artisans in the Middle Ages, with the participation of carpenters, blacksmiths, glassmakers, and potters.
The medieval market, for its part, is one of the highlights of the celebration, offering a wide variety of artisanal products. From foods like cured meats and cheeses to decorative objects, toys, clothing, jewelry, and swords, visitors can find all kinds of items inspired by the period.
Another prominent area is the DO Conca de Barberà wine and cava market, located in the moat of the Sant Francesc wall. With the participation of 14 wineries from the region, this meeting point allows attendees to taste and learn about local wine production. This offering will be available during both weekends of the Medieval Week, solidifying its position as one of the festival's major attractions.
