The Plaça Major in Montblanc was the setting on Friday, May 15th, for a stop of the Government Plan's InfoTruck, an itinerant initiative by the Generalitat de Catalunya.

The objective of this initiative is to bring the Catalan Executive's policies and actions closer to the citizens. During the event, residents and visitors could learn about ongoing projects, ask questions, and convey their proposals directly to government officials.
The mobile unit was attended by the Minister of Sports, Berni Álvarez, and the Government delegate in Tarragona, Lucía López. Álvarez highlighted the importance of these visits for disseminating public policies, especially in sports, and for listening to citizens' concerns.
The minister emphasized the actions carried out in Conca de Barberà, such as the shock plan for improving sports infrastructure, which has involved an investment of over 700,000 euros in the region. The improvement of the C-14 between Montblanc and Solivella, the works at the Logis Montblanc industrial estate with an investment of 48 million euros, and the creation of 470 jobs were also mentioned.
Other notable projects include the commencement of works for the new wastewater treatment plant in Blancafort, the allocation of land for 32 protected housing units, and the planned renovation of the Montblanc fire station. In the agricultural sector, studies are underway for new irrigation infrastructure, and the Catalan Water Agency (ACA) has awarded 20 million euros in grants for water supply works, connecting several municipalities with the Consorci d’Aigües de Tarragona (CAT).
The InfoTruck has been touring the region's capitals since September 2025 to make the Government Plan visible and understandable, explaining specific actions in each territory and reinforcing proximity and transparency in public management.
