The town of Montblanc has commenced the 39th edition of its Medieval Week, an event that transports visitors to the Middle Ages with a broad program of activities.

Following Friday's inaugural event, which included the presentation of the year's first rose, the Ducal Town has fully embraced the celebration. The streets have been filled with itinerant entertainment and street performances, complemented by large-scale representations such as the Legend of Sant Jordi.
The medieval atmosphere is palpable in every corner, with artisan product stalls, demonstrations of ancient crafts like blacksmithing, and encampments recreating life from that era. Knight tournaments are one of the main attractions, captivating the attention of entire families who often dress in period attire to fully immerse themselves in the festivities.
This historical reenactment, closely linked to the legend of Sant Jordi, is one of the most unique events in the country and successfully unites the community of Montblanc to make it possible year after year.
