The Montblanc City Council is organizing a new hiking route through the mills of the Vall next Saturday, March 21st, to commemorate World Water Day.

This new initiative aims to showcase the historical and natural heritage of the Vall de Lladrons. Participants will discover the remains of eight ancient flour and cloth mills that highlight the industrial past of this iconic area in Montblanc.
The excursion will be led by Manel Martínez, a naturalist and rural architecture expert. The route will reveal not only the mills but also old farmhouses, ponds, and kilns that have been hidden by dense vegetation for decades.
The circular 8-kilometer hike features a 250-meter elevation gain and crosses the Vall River several times. The activity starts at 9:00 AM at the Vall parking lot, with tickets priced at 10 euros.
