The approved document integrates proposals from the Consell Comarcal de la Conca de Barberà, as well as contributions made by the entity Peu de Terra and the nuclei of Pinetell and Rojals. The council considers that the current planning has not sufficiently taken into account the needs and reality of the territory.
During the plenary session, concern was raised regarding the possible installation of photovoltaic and wind farms in areas that the municipality wishes to preserve. The local government pointed out that the PLATER identifies as suitable spaces that, according to municipal urban planning regulations, should have limitations due to their status as rustic or protected land.
The council has also questioned the compatibility of these energy infrastructures with the creation of the future natural park of the Muntanyes de Prades. According to the municipal government, the territory has already made a significant contribution to the implementation of renewable energies and its commitment in this matter is considered covered.
